Aldi has announced when the famous Christmas turkeys will be back in the store, and this year they will be even easier to get.
In a statement to RSVP Live, an Aldi representative revealed that the set of discounted Christmas turkeys will be available for shopping in stores across the country starting Monday, December 20.
To beat the stress of a frenetic Christmas food store, Aldi is also giving shoppers the opportunity to pre-order their turkey now, to pick it up at their local store between December 20 and 23.
“This year customers can order 100% fresh Irish turkey through Aldi’s Click and Collect Service, from a selection available, and reserve a batch in-store between December 20 and 23.”
Customers can now pre-order their Christmas turkey HereAldi will continue to accept applications until December 15.
Please note that Click & Collect is only available in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and other select stores across the country. See groceries.aldi.ie for available areas and to pre-order the Turkey Collection and Christmas Week.
Bargain set turkeys start at just €8.99 for a small Irish turkey (serves 4-6 people) and go up to €17.99 for a large Irish turkey (serve 9-11 people).
How to cook the perfect turkey:
As a guide, cook turkey at 180°C/350°C/gas mark 4.
- Less than 4.5 kg – cook for 45 minutes per kg, plus 20 minutes.
- 4.5 kg – 6.5 kg – Cook for 40 minutes per kg.
- More than 6.5 kg – cook 35 minutes per kg.
