Businesswomen from Limerick Group win awards at Network Ireland Awards

Three local businesswomen have won awards at the annual Network Ireland Awards.

Waterford hosted the Network Ireland Business Woman of the Year Award 2021.

But Limerick’s flag was highest in Déise, with three members of the LAN chapter, which exists to support women in business and the arts, winning awards.

For the first time in two years, the audience was able to attend the gala party in person.

Linda Sheehan of Rockbarton Garden Center in Braff won the Solo Businesswoman of the Year award.

The best business went to Ber Collins of Crystal Clear Springs Enterprises which despite being in Meelick is a member of Network Ireland Limerick.

Another winner from this group was Aisling Finn of Jaguar Land Rover in Shannon, who received the Rising Star Award.

Newcastle West businesswoman Chloe Markham, designer Chloe Markham, has been highly acclaimed in the Creative Professionals category.

Network Ireland National Chair Aisling O’Neill said: “I would like to congratulate every applicant, finalist and award winner today, for highlighting the incredible work that women across Ireland do every day, and particularly over the past 20 months. I am So proud of all our members who give support and encouragement to each other every day, embodying the spirit of Network Ireland as the progressive and dynamic organization we aim to be.”

Although only 300 people were allowed to attend the awards, almost many watched them.

All proceeds from ticket sales flowing for the event will go to Network Ireland’s 2021 philanthropic partner, Focus Ireland, which aims to tackle homelessness.
