There was no winner of Friday night’s EuroMillions draw but two players came painfully close to winning the mega prize.
The jackpot of €30 million went unclaimed after no one was able to match five numbers and two lucky stars.
The winning numbers were 12, 17, 22, 33, 39 and lucky stars 2 and 12.
However, two lucky ticket holders who matched five numbers and one lucky star managed to earn €359,277 each.
There was also no winner of the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus raffle.
The numbers chosen were 15, 26, 27, 30 and 45.
It comes as excitement builds ahead of Saturday night’s seventh consecutive record lotto draw.

The grand prize has been set at €19,060,800 for six draws so far with players from the lower prize categories benefiting from the prize stream in each of the draws.
