Ireland has a newly made millionaire thanks to a one-player win in Saturday night’s draw.
The lucky ticket holder got a life-changing €1 million after winning the first prize in the Lotto Plus 1 raffle.
The numbers drawn were 11, 15, 29, 30, 45, 47 and the bonus was 44.
While there was no winner of the main lottery drawing of 19 million euros, two players received more than 500 thousand euros each in the draw.
They match five numbers and a bonus prize to win €517,001 each.
The numbers chosen were 07, 20, 23, 33, 36, 44 and the reward is 10.
There was also no Lotto Plus 2 jackpot winner of €250,000.
The lucky numbers were 01, 04, 16, 22, 32, 40 and 09 bonus.
In total, more than 173,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus raffles on Saturday night.
Since the Lotto main prize is unclaimed, this means that the staggering jackpot of €19,060.800 will carry over for another week.
As the jackpot was set, the money that would normally be added to the jackpot was instead distributed to the next prize category in which there was a winner.
Winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe. Each winner should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team at 1800666222 or send an email to [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.
