Lotto leaders announced the location of the newest Irish millionaire ahead of the jackpot draw

The Daily Million player in Wexford got his weekend off to an amazing start after taking home the first prize of €1,000,000 in the 9pm daily draw last night.

The winning store where the Quick Pick ticket was purchased will be revealed in the coming days.

The winning numbers in last night’s draw were: 02, 05, 08, 11, 15, 31 and the bonus is 23.

The Wexford winner is advised to sign the back of his ticket, which is now worth €1,000,000, and keep it in a safe place.

National Lottery players still hoping to win big prizes this weekend have the chance to take home another life-changing amount with tonight’s Lotto jackpot hitting an estimated €18 million.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “Wexford have a new millionaire this morning after one of the lucky Daily Million players became the biggest winner of the night after taking home the €1 million first prize in the 9pm draw on Friday.

“We will announce the location of the winning store in the coming days where the gold ticket was purchased. In the meantime, we advise the winning ticket holder to sign on the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place. Our prize claims team should be contacted at 1800666222 or

“Although we didn’t see a jackpot winner last night in the mega EuroMillions draw, National Lottery players still have the chance to win a life-changing amount in tonight’s lotto raffle with the jackpot going up to an estimated €18 million.

“With Lotto players across the country dreaming about what they’re going to do with this massive amount, we expect to see an increase in ticket sales as we approach the 7.45pm deadline. We are appealing to players to buy their tickets early and continue to follow public health guidance while doing so.

“A reminder to all our players that tickets can be purchased in-store, in the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie. Are Ireland set to see a new millionaire tonight? Only time will tell!”
