National Lottery reveals 28 locations where tickets worth over €35,000 have been sold

Checked your ticket yet? You could be about to get 35,000 euros richer.

The National Lottery revealed the selling locations where each of the 28 tickets matching five numbers were purchased in the Wednesday night (October 13th) lottery.

Winning ticket holders participated in a prize fund of nearly €1 million and will now go on to claim €35,234 each.

Since the grand prize on Wednesday night was decided, this meant that money that would normally be added to the grand prize was instead distributed to the next prize category where there was a winner.

Since there was no grand prize winner or Match 5 + Bonus category, the additional money was then added to the next level with the winner, the Match 5 Prize category.

There were online and retail winners from 13 different counties who became the biggest winners of the main lotto draw on Wednesday night.

Were you one of the lucky Lotto players since Wednesday night’s draw who came incredibly close to hitting the €19,060,800 jackpot? We can now reveal that the 28 tickets, now worth €35,234 each, were purchased by players in 13 different counties,” a spokesperson for the National Lottery said.

“There were nine players who won their share of the €986,552 prize fund after buying their tickets online at www.lottery.ie19 players bought their winning tickets from the store.

« We urge players to check the list of winning spots and also check their tickets carefully as they can have a great prize waiting for them. »

Anyone with a Match 5 winning card is advised to sign on the back and keep it safe.
